Cost by area: Faridabad office markets at a glance
The rate card is the same everywhere in Faridabad. The building stock decides where your project lands within a tier.
| Market | Typical building stock | Cost notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mathura Road (Sarai to Mewala Maharajpur) | Older owner-built commercial blocks on the Violet Line | Electrical load and AC upgrades often needed; irregular columns cost seats |
| Sector 15, 16 and Old Faridabad | Smaller commercial floors, banks, clinics, showrooms | Small floors carry more fixed cost per sq ft (reception, pantry, server) |
| NIT and industrial sectors | Plant admin blocks and offices inside factory compounds | Dust control, safety inductions and shift-timed work add labour cost |
| Ballabgarh and Greater Faridabad | Newer towers and sectors, often bare or warm shell | Bare shell adds ceiling, flooring and MEP distribution to the scope |
What drives fit-out cost in Faridabad
Factory-compound offices
Many Faridabad offices sit inside running plants. Work is planned around shifts, material gates and the plant’s safety rules, and noisy jobs may move to nights or Sundays. That raises labour cost slightly but avoids stopping production.
Electrical load in older buildings
Blocks along Mathura Road and in the older sectors were often built for lower loads than a modern office draws. A load check at the site visit tells you early whether a new panel, cabling or a sanctioned-load increase is needed.
Air-conditioning route
Few Faridabad buildings offer landlord chilled water. Most offices use VRF or split systems, sized for very hot, dusty summers. The AC line is usually the largest single MEP item here.
Haryana fire approvals
Changes to partitions, sprinklers or exits must stay within the building’s fire approval under Haryana Fire and Emergency Services. Older buildings sometimes need fire detection upgraded to meet current rules before an office can open.
Dust and winter restrictions
Between October and January, GRAP orders in the NCR can pause dust-generating work. A winter programme in Faridabad needs float for this, and civil work is best front-loaded.
What the rate does not include
Our per sq ft rate covers civil work, MEP, finishes and furniture. Budget separately for:
- GST, charged on top of every rate on this page;
- sanctioned-load increases and new transformers, where the electricity board or landlord charges apply;
- plant-specific safety requirements beyond standard site safety, such as permits or special insurance inside factories;
- finishes above your tier, such as imported furniture or natural stone.
